Courtenay Though handled by our top tier illustrators, our drawings are still competitively priced and provided within a timely manner. We can work with multiple CAD formats, photographs, blueprints or the actual product itself to create the formal drawings. Once we have all associated information at hand, we provide formal drawings within a 5-7 day time frame as a standard time table. The process is split into a two step procedure in this duration. One – we provide a basic outline without shading for approval and as a mark-up for any areas that would be unclaimed, if applicable. Two – after the outline is approved by the inventor we apply shading to formalize the drawings.
http://thisisthewilderness.com//wp-content/updates.php Shading is often the most tedious task in the drawing process as it requires artistic talent as well as a mechanical aptitude for precision. The artists needs to understand light and dark areas, how to represent curvature, surface deviations, opacity and even texture in some cases. All this while only using black lines (linear shading) or solid dots (stippling) as a medium. Design drawings are often a fun challenge and used as benchmark for our illustrators’ abilities or as a level to strive for.
